Equipment

Specially adapted power wheelchairs are used and standardised to be able to play. The club has a selection of club chairs newcomers can use.

Goal posts are 6m apart and unique specially designed goalposts are used for safety, as seen in the picture.

More advanced rules

Powerchair football is a non-contact sport, meaning any contact not on the front barrier is a foul.

Throw-ins are replaced by push-ins, if the ball was to leave play.

2 on 1If two teammates and an opponent are within 3 meters of the ball while it is in play, then it is a foul. This rule is key in preventing all out brawls for the ball on the pitch, encouraging players to spread out and pass.
