Position: Centre

A little bit about me:

"Sports is my passion, fell in love with it from the very start. Known to smile a lot, sing a little and from time to time pick up a caution from the ref or two. Adore the sound of hitting the ball sweetly and producing an assist. Love being part of the team and the different bonds that are shared. Some would say that you can hear me from a mile away."

Position: Centre

A little bit about me:

"My name's James and I play as the designated goalkeeper. However, you will also see me down the other end of the pitch taking a corner. That tells you all you need to know about how I play. I also love the social aspect of the sport, and have made lifelong friends on and off the pitch.

A little bit about me:

"So like….. I’m football mad, Powerchair football enables me to be independent, compete on a level playing field without my disability having effect and has given me chance to explore coaching as well as playing a sport I love”

Position: Winger

A little bit about me:

Hey there! I'm Stanley. When I first discovered powerchair football, I was a bit unsure and hesitant about it. But once I got the opportunity to join a team and play, everything changed. It allowed me to engage in sports just like my peers. I found this passion for powerchair football, which helped me gain independence, connect with others who have disabilities, and gave me the chance to participate in a sport that I truly love and cherish. It has really boosted my mental health and confidence.

A little bit about me:

I’m George and from a young age I had wanted to become a footballer and after the news of founding put about my condition I thought that the dream wouldn’t be possible. Until I found out about powerchair football and I have ended up falling in love with the game. the social aspect of powerchair football is amazing especially on game weekends. I don’t know what I would be doing without the sport
